Byley War Graves and Poppy Selling31st October 2015 |
Cadets paid their respects to service men and women both current and past by maintaining the 18 Commonwealth graves at Byley and selling Royal British Legion poppies and charity gifts on a stall in Congleton. The graves at Byley are of RAF, RAFVR and Navy personnel from WWII and include Canadian, New Zealand, Australian and British servicemen.
Cadets will be selling poppies again this weekend prior to attending the Remembrance Sunday Parade.
Well done to all cadets who gave up their time to help.
